Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping Olympic Trials

The U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined will be held Dec. 30-31 at the Utah Olympic Park in a winner-take-all event where the victors will be named to Team USA. The Olympic Trials will feature Nordic Combined on Saturday, Dec. 30 followed by Ski Jumping for men and women on Sunday, Dec. 31.

Schedule

9:30 – 9:40  HS-100 Nordic Combined Trial Jump 10 athletes @ 1min each
9:40 – 9:55  Break – Fore jumpers/Hill prep
9:55 – 10:05  HS-100 Nordic Combined Competition Jump 10 athletes @ 1min each
10:05 – 13:00 Venue Change over Prep XC course and Start/Finish area
1:00 – 1:35  Nordic Combined 10km (5X2km) XC Loop

1:45 – 2:00  Olympic Trials NC Awards Presentation

– Admission is free as well as parking!

2 – There will be shuttles running from the Kimball Junction Transit Center most of the day

3 – If you have to park away from the venue on the road going to the bobsled track, there will also be shuttles running up and down that hill to get you to the venue quicker.

Deer Valley is hosting a Children’s Glowlight Parade before their annual Torchlight parade!

Meet our four Resort Mascots at the Wide West conveyor lifts at 5:30 p.m. for glowsticks and family fun! (Limited to the first 150 participants, ages 7 – 12.) The Torchlight Parade will be held at approximately 6 p.m. (dusk) on Big Stick ski run on Bald Eagle Mountain, behind Snow Park Lodge.

Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be served on the Snow Park Plaza from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
